Vos responsabilités en quelques mots!
Manage day to day projects and production tasks during the closing period – Be a mentor to your team – Assist the Head of accounting and upper management with any requests regarding your department – Ensure that investigations and reporting are neat– Review data, ledgers, accounting entries and transactions – Respond to questions from external auditors and other teams of the company – Supervise impairment on financial instruments in accordance with the group rules – Participate in the optimisation of working tools and systems – Identify and implement operational process improvements
Vos atouts pour le poste !
• BAC in accounting and a valid CPA title
• Minimum 6 years of financial and accounting experience (auditing background is an asset)
• Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, Office suite (Excel), capital market products, prime brokerage, regulatory and tax accounting rules
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Professionally skilled to develop and maintain key relationships with business teams and back office transactional contacts
• To have a great sense for coaching, analysis, organization, and communication
• Bilingualism: ability to exchange fluidly in English and professionally in French (written and spoken)
