Vos responsabilités en quelques mots!

Prepare various financial analyses supporting the quarterly & year-end closing process – Involved in coordinating with financial controllers in various operating hubs – Write financial statement notes and involvement with the production of financial statements, MD&A, and earnings press releases – Involved in annual goodwill and actuarial valuation process – Maintain process and controls documentation for key transaction cycles and accounting processes at head office –  Participate in overall scoping & risk assessment process – Assess impact of developments in the business on transaction processing and financial reporting risks – Identify control design and performance issues, and support process owners with design and implementation of new controls – Perform testing of control design & effectiveness, document conclusions and remediation plans – Support external audit process – Collaborate in special projects

Vos atouts pour le poste !

• BAC in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
• To detain, or on its way to be, a professional title as a CPA, CA (strong assets)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with public accounting or accounting for a public company
• Demonstrating work experience with business process analysis and internal controls
• Experience with SEC registrants, the manufacturing industry and/or IT Audit (assets)
• Team player with multi-tasking abilities who succeeds in fast paced environments
• Strong work ethic and ability to adapt easily in new environments
• Time management skills and detail oriented
• Great computer skills (Excel, Word and Power Point), ability to use data query and reporting tools
• Ability to analyze and synthesize information and complex issues to develop meaningful analyses to help make informed decisions
• Readily voices opinions (supported by facts), escalate issues and ideas, and able to positively manager coaching
• Bilingualism: Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and fluent in French (Spanish is considered an asset)
