Your responsibilities in a few words!

Review all invoices prior to entry into the AP system – Process payment requests (checks, wire transfers and wires) – Match invoices to checks, obtain all signatures and distribute accordingly – Respond to all vendor inquiries – Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies – Assist with month-end close – Maintain records and documentation accurately in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices

Your assets for this position!

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounts payable
  • DEC or AEC in accounting (asset)
  • Knowledge of AS400 and Great Plains (asset)
  • Must have a good work ethic, organizational and self-directed skills
  • Must be able to follow standard filing procedures
  • Ability to interact professionally with employees and suppliers
  • Bilingualism: must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing (in French and English)
