Your responsibilities in a few words!

Manage the budget and forecasting process – Evaluate current accounting operations, propose recommendations for improvement and implement new processes – Monitor financial health of subsidiaries and portfolios and ensure positive cash flow – Develop strategies to increase ROI and profitability – Develop and manage monthly, quarterly and annual reports and track key performance indicators – Prepare and analyze monthly cash reports for management – Assess overall financial position of subsidiaries, including competitive analysis – Perform financial analysis such as industry benchmarking or trend analysis that contributes to this assessment – Develop strategies to control working capital – Evaluate and recommend optimal strategies for cash flow Evaluate capital budgeting decisions and processes by performing net present value, internal rate of return, and other relevant analyses – Evaluate assets, business strategies, and the impact of risk decision making on the purchase, expansion, or sale of an entity – Assist the management team in performing valuation work

Your assets for this position!

  • Accounting or finance experience relevant to the role
  • CPA designation or in the process of obtaining one (asset)
  • Have an interest in M&A
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong technology skills, with software and capital markets
  • Bilingualism: professional communication in English (French is considered an asset)
