Your responsibilities in a few words!

Participate in month-end closings and preparation of journal entries – Contribute to the production of the monthly financial statements of the two legal entities – Ensure that ongoing projects are properly evaluated and accounted for – Perform detailed analysis of balance sheet accounts – Explain budget variances to the income statement in order to provide relevant information to management – Work on the preparation of the external audit file Work on the preparation of the external audit file – Assume the role of resource person in the annual audit process – Take charge of the production of the various tax reports – Collaborate in the creation of new analysis tools for the monthly financial statements – Participate in the annual budget process – Perform ad hoc financial analyses

Your assets for this position!

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or any other field relevant to the role
  • Minimum 1 year experience in financial statement preparation and month-end
  • Know how to handle payroll, invoice entry, payables and receivables with ease
  • Good knowledge of accounting standards and Quickbooks
  • Excellent command of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)
  • Interest and/or experience in the event industry
  • Be a team player and collaborative
  • Possess a sense of detail, precision and organization
  • Bilingualism: express yourself clearly in French and be able to manage in English, both orally and in writing
