Your responsibilities in a few words!

Verify the accuracy of monthly results – Analyze monthly the consistency of various costs, inventories, results and obtain explanations for variations based on the analyses produced – Identify variations requiring the attention of the management team and communicate opportunities for operational improvements – Participate closely in the budgeting process – Assist in the preparation and critical analysis of annual budgets based on various parameters related to operating statistics – Promote the use of tools facilitating the budget forecast adjustment process – Support management in carrying out cost/benefit analyses in order to promote efficient operations management – Perform accounting and operational financial analyses in compliance with IFRS – Make financial information accessible through the use of IFRS Carry out accounting and operational financial analyses of results in compliance with IFRS – Make financial information accessible through clear explanations and a good partnership with internal customers – Participate in meetings and committees – Collaborate on certain projects related to process improvement

Your assets for this position!

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • CPA designation (an asset)
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years' experience in analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cost management and cost pricing
  • Experience in the manufacturing or mining sector (an asset)
  • In-depth knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in SAP software (an asset)
  • Thoroughness and excellent organizational skills
  • Know how to innovate and participate in process improvement
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Bilingualism: excellent communication in French and fluency in English (spoken and written)
