Your responsibilities in a few words!

Analyze insurance coverages – Collaborate in monitoring the group’s needs and ensuring that coverages are adequate – Prepare the documentation required for the negotiation and renewal of insurance policies – Keep the list of insured assets up to date – Communicate with insurers regarding asset additions and withdrawals – Draw up the annual insurance premium budget – Follow up on premium payments and credit collections – Keep insurance policy databases up to date – Participate in the implementation of insurance and claims management guidelines and procedures – Receive information relating to claims and make recommendations – Communicate facts and information relevant to decision-making to stakeholders. Participate in the implementation of insurance and claims management guidelines and procedures – Receive information relating to claims requests and make recommendations – Communicate facts and information relevant to decision-making to stakeholders – Examine documents submitted in support of claims and ensure proper file management – Monitor all claims files and requests for information – Assign mandates to adjusters or lawyers to investigate, to assess damage, liability or defend the Group’s interests, as required – Review reports produced by adjusters and lawyers, and provide observations and recommendations – Enter relevant information into the computer system throughout the file – Produce all correspondence relating to the department – Collaborate with all teams, as required.

Your assets for this position!

  • BAC or DEC in administration or experience in a field relevant to the role
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in insurance management
  • Master the Office Suite
  • Understanding how insurance premiums are calculated
  • Working together and making numbers talk
  • Be disciplined, self-reliant, methodical and respectful by nature
  • Bilingualism: required
