Your responsibilities in a few words!

Prepare half-yearly and annual consolidated financial statements, as well as quarterly consolidated financial statements for internal and external stakeholders – Participate in the financial consolidation process of the Group and its subsidiaries – Actively participate in the financial and accounting integration of newly acquired companies – Establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure consistent and accurate financial reporting – Monitor and implement updates to accounting standards and recommend, where necessary, Optimize internal control processes related to financial reporting and the consolidation process – Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to strengthen the control environment – Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal and senior management, Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and efficiency in financial reporting – Lead or participate in the implementation and improvement of systems to streamline financial reporting processes

Your assets for this position!

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in financial reporting and/or auditing
  • CPA designation or in the process of obtaining one (asset)
  • Strong Office Suite skills (advanced Excel)
  • Experience with spreadsheets and interpretation of data for reporting purposes
  • Familiarity with financial software
  • Experience with NetSuite (asset)
  • Bilingualism: English required
