Your responsibilities in a few words!

Gérer l’ensemble du cycle comptable incluant la paie – Enregistrer les revenus et les factures fournisseurs – Effectuer les paiements et gérer les cartes de crédit – Préparer les rapports et remises de taxes – Effectuer les écritures comptables et conciliations bancaires – Produire les états financiers mensuels et annuels – Collaborer étroitement avec l’audit externe – Participer au processus budgétaire et au développement de tableaux de bord – Superviser une technicienne comptable à temps partiel – Assurer la mise en place et l’amélioration des processus comptables

Your assets for this position!

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting option (or equivalent experience)
CPA (an asset)
Minimum 4-5 years’ relevant experience in a small or medium-sized business with management of the full accounting and payroll cycle
Proficiency in accounting software (eg. Sage 50) and Microsoft Office suite
Experience in managing several files simultaneously
Experience with Nethris or in a similar industry (an asset)
Ability to structure and improve accounting processes
Sense of initiative and ability to work independently
High level of rigor and ability to adapt to changing priorities
Fluency in French and functional English
