Your responsibilities in a few words!
Oversee monthly closings under IFRS and US GAAP – Ensure accuracy of financial statements and accounting reconciliations – Analyze financial transactions and maintain profitability database – Coordinate financial systems transformation projects and ensure compliance with new accounting requirements – Participate in external audits and respond to stakeholder requests – Improve accounting processes and collaborate with operational teams to optimize workflows – Provide accurate financial data to reporting teams – Coach and support junior team members in their activities and investigations.
Your assets for this position!
Accounting degree and CPA CA designation
6-8 years' experience in accounting and financial management, ideally in brokerage or financial services
Strong Excel skills (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF)
Working knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP
Knowledge of capital market products and prime brokerage
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent command of English, both oral and written, to interact with international customers and colleagues
