Your responsibilities in a few words!

Prepare monthly and annual financial statements – Analyze balance sheet and results and other miscellaneous analyses – Participate in the preparation of the annual budget – Justify budget variances – Ensure payroll review – Sign releases as statutory auditor – Arrange annual review or tax audit engagements – Coordinate treasury operations and banking requirements – Draw up cash flow projections – Manage insurance and prepare grant files – Manage fixed assets and related leases – Ensure compliance with all tax requirements – Collaborate in the continuous improvement of fixed assets and related leases – Ensure compliance with all tax requirements. Your assets for this position!

  • CPA designation or in the process of obtaining one (asset)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position
  • Have a good knowledge of accounting standards, compliance and cost control
  • Advanced knowledge of Office Suite software (Outlook and Excel)
  • Ease of working with ERP software (Genius or Acumatica are assets)
  • Familiarity with the construction or manufacturing industry (assets)
  • Experience in acquisition and interest in supervision (assets)
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage priorities
  • Sharp sense of detail, management and diplomacy
  • Bilingualism: required
