Your responsibilities in a few words!

Prepare and analyze tax provisions for assigned Canadian entities – Prepare tax returns and related forms (T106, T1134, etc.) – Work on international tax projects, including reorganizations and financing – Ensure compliance with Canadian and international tax regulations – Conduct research and write memos to support tax positions – Collaborate with various departments (accounting, legal, HR, etc.) – Participate in tax audits and governmental audits – Indirectly supervise a tax analyst and directly supervise trainees – Manage projects related to OECD Pillar 2 and international taxation – Indirectly supervise a tax analyst and directly supervise trainees.Collaborate with various departments (accounting, legal, HR, etc.) – Participate in tax audits and governmental audits – Manage projects related to OECD Pillar 2 and international taxation – Indirectly supervise a tax analyst and directly supervise interns

Your assets for this position!

Master’s degree in taxation or CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course
CPA certification or equivalent experience in corporate taxation
Relevant experience (2 to 6 years) in Canadian and international taxation, ideally in a large corporation or Big 4/6 firm
Excellent written and spoken English and French
Proficiency with Taxprep and Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently on complex tax provisions
Expertise in mergers, acquisitions and international taxation
