Your responsibilities in a few words!

Manage technical and administrative payroll activities in compliance with the standards, regulations and applicable laws of the Group and its entities – Enter all employee-related adjustments and changes – Validate payroll results, identify discrepancies between requests and policies in force – Calculate amounts, for special payments and forward them to the appropriate persons – Reconcile deductions at source, provide and issue all required documents in accordance with the various laws and their implementing regulations – Be available to answer questions relating to employee payroll – Carry out updates to payroll module parameters – Manage requests, Identify payroll module optimization needs using your project management skills – Collaborate on internal and external payroll audits – Participate in year-end processes through to the issuance of all tax documents – Support the accounting team with payroll entries – Detect and resolve problems of various kinds – Collaborate on policy development and updating, Oversee payroll system modules, identify business needs, issues or requirements, and evaluate, recommend and develop required enhancements – Perform payroll system parameter updates

Your assets for this position!

  • AEC or DEC in an appropriate discipline
  • Minimum 5 years' experience with the complete payroll cycle
  • CPA certificate (asset)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level)
  • Excellent knowledge of tax laws and government regulations
  • Familiarity with Workday tool (asset)
  • Bilingualism: express yourself, read and write clearly in French
