Your responsibilities in a few words!

In collaboration with credit teams, define credit file authorization guidelines and processes – Recommend improvements to credit strategies – Implement risk assessment tools and processes – Establish guidelines for defining thresholds and the scope of use of these tools – Document all aspects of the work in order to properly assess the parameters – Analyze the performance of credit risk strategies – Provide training on these tools – Document strategies as they evolve – Actively participate in carrying out feasibility studies, Participate actively in feasibility studies, pilot projects and projects for the implementation of credit risk assessment models for customers – Act as contact with information agencies – Participate in the development and design of products for customers – Collaborate on various company projects – Act as advisor to management on complex situations or files – Inform the organization on risk management – Monitor market trends and suggest ways of optimizing the integration of risk assessment tools into business processes.

Your assets for this position!

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, financial engineering, business administration, economics or any other relevant discipline
  • CA, CPA or CFA designation or other certification or accreditation (an asset)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in risk management and development of authorization strategies
  • Experience in corporate finance
  • Advanced Excel
  • Advanced data management skills (SAS/SQL programming or other)
  • Expertise in the use of a general ledger or ERP system
  • Strong interest in interpersonal relations, political acumen and customer service
  • Know how to manage priorities and have an innate talent for personnel management
  • Bilingualism: clearly expressed in French, spoken, read and written (use of English is optional)
