Your responsibilities in a few words!

Control revenues and expenses – Produce monthly financial statements and provide suggestions and solutions to managers in case of discrepancies – Operate the complete accounting cycle – Analyze asset and liability accounts – Enter entries for various related organizations – Prepare and enter inter-company and year-end entries – Reconcile bank accounts – Prepare tax reimbursement requests – Reconcile accounting information – Conduct accounting technology improvements – Supervise all upgrades to the accounting system in order to ensure proper follow-up of the numerous programs of the organization – Supervise the payroll department – Coordinate the annual external audit file as well as the various government files – Act as a liaison between the accounting department and the government Supervise the payroll department – Coordinate the annual external audit file as well as the various government files – Act as a resource person for the external auditors – Supervise the members of his/her team and ensure the achievement of objectives – Participate in the maintenance of the risk management chart – Produce tax returns and government reports – Reconcile the data of the various acquisition and construction projects

Your assets for this position!

  • Hold a CPA designation
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with the NPO sector (asset)
  • Tactful communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and respect for deadlines
  • Strong team spirit
  • Ability to manage positively and collaborate
  • Mastery of the Office Suite (Excel advanced level)
  • Bilingualism: optional
