Your responsibilities in a few words!

Manage day-to-day accounting duties – Provide consolidated and non-consolidated financial statements – Coordinate year-end audit process – Prepare annual audited financial statements – Ensure all external tax and governmental filings are properly submitted – Ensure financial reporting and procedures are in compliance with regulatory standards – Analyze current financial and operational procedures and policies – Ensure quality control of financial transactions and reports – Identify risk factors and areas needing improvement – Develop recommendations and implementation plans to improve controls, Oversee the treasury function – Participate in annual budgeting and forecasting activities – Collaborate with other departments to ensure changes to the business are reflected in financial reporting – Lead a large team of accountants, financial analysts, and accounting managers – Manage the accounting teams’ schedule and deadlines for monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables – Act as a resource and provide finance related assistance to the Director and management teams

Your assets for this position!

  • Hold a CPA designation
  • Minimum 7 years experience in a similar role
  • Understanding the NCECF
  • Mastery of the Office Suite and Quickbooks
  • Knowledge of NetSuite (asset)
  • Experience with multiple entities and currencies
  • Solid experience in project management
  • Good positive and mobilizing management skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Bilingualism: English required, French optional
