Your responsibilities in a few words!

Produce financial reports and statements for investors – Carry out financial monitoring of investments, notably by participating in the determination of their fair market values – Carry out all accounting operations, from data entry into the accounting system to the production of financial statements and reports – Meet tax requirements, notably sales tax reporting, tax returns and the production of tax slips – Manage the group’s cash flow – Coordinate capital calls and remittances for investors – Answer ad hoc questions – Consolidate financial information received from investments and prepare presentations for the various committees – Coordinate the annual audit process and the production of tax reports – Participate in the preparation of presentations for investors – Monitor the budget for expenses and contracts by investor – Follow up, Interact with various consultants (auditors, tax specialists, lawyers, IT consultants and others), as required.

Your assets for this position!

  • BAC in Accounting
  • Hold a CPA designation
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in accounting and financial analysis
  • Experience in preparing financial statements, drafting GST/QST reports and reporting
  • Excellent knowledge of the Office Suite
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize
  • Familiarity with SAGE software (asset)
  • Experience in a law firm (asset)
  • Interest in private investment, taxation and investor relations
  • Bilingualism: required
