Your responsibilities in a few words!

Supervise, train and support your accounting team by demonstrating positive and unifying management – Create an environment of trust, professional development and productivity – Maintain internal safeguards for revenue, costs, team and organizational budgets and actual expenses – In collaboration with the CFO, establish financial and operational benchmarks, budgets, In collaboration with the CFO, establish financial and operational benchmarks, budgets, program tracking and reporting standards on a monthly and annual basis – Implement effective accounting policies, practices and procedures – Ensure compliance with national and local legal standards while remaining current with proposed legislation – Develop internal controls to optimize protection of company assets, policies, procedures and workflows

Your assets for this position!

  • Hold a CPA designation
  • Minimum 5 years experience in personnel management in accounting or finance
  • Have a strong entrepreneurial sense and passion for the company's mission
  • Experience working with different multidisciplinary teams, experience in NPO or medium-sized company (assets)
  • Excellent skills with digital accounting tools (Prodon, SAGE 300, Nethris)
  • Working knowledge of tax regulations and compliance reporting
  • Strong sense of detail and analysis of financial data
  • Bilingualism: required
