Vos responsabilités en quelques mots!

Responsible of month-end close, maintenance of detailed general ledger, cash management, timely vendor payments, customer invoicing and month-end reporting – Review and enhance accounting systems, policies and procedures – Accountable for proper accounting and documentation – Considerate compliance with accounting for customer and vendor contracts – Assist in contract renewals – Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and implementation of new accounting standards – Evaluate internal controls, implement new controls, and improves existing controls – Review and recommend modifications to existing policies and processes – Examinate journal entries, account analyses, and account reconciliations at month-end – Manage the payroll –  Prepare reports required by regulatory agencies – Collaborate in other financial / accounting departmental needs as they arise

Vos atouts pour le poste !

• BAC in accounting or business administration • Detain a CPA designation (asset) • Minimum 5 years of experience • Knowledge of the construction/landscaping business (asset) • Experience with budgeting and forecasting processes • Solid understanding of general accounting principles and procedures • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills • Bilingualism: great communication and written skills in English (fluency in French is considered an asset)
