Your responsibilities in a few words!

Monitor and anticipate cash balances – Perform weekly payment forecasts (Canada and USA) – Ensure payment deliveries – Assiduously monitor operational status of payments and partners – Execute daily cash fund movements – Oversee preparation of weekly and monthly borrowing base certificates – Perform bank transfers – Oversee daily reconciliation of all payments – Manage all bank account reconciliations – Optimize payment delivery and minimize exceptions (returns, failures, undelivered) – Act as main point of contact with banking partners for day-to-day operational issues – Support VP Finance in banking partner strategy – Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all accounts payable processes are aligned with corporate objectives – Participate in the development of policies, Contribute to the development of accounts payable policies, procedures and systems to improve efficiency – Assist with external audits – Contribute to the measurement and mitigation of corporate financial risks – Continuous development of treasury policies, procedures and controls – Ensure regulatory compliance of processes

Your assets for this position!

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, taxation or business administration
  • Experience in the consumer goods industry and asset-based lending
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience with experience in team management (an asset)
  • Strong understanding of transfer and payment processing and cash management in a treasury environment
  • Experience in backup, forecasting and reconciliation
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large financial data sets
  • Knowledge of US tax concepts (asset)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite programs and ERP systems (ORACLE and NetSuite)
  • Bilingualism: English is essential and French optional for this role
