Your responsibilities in a few words!

Collaborate in the implementation of the new payroll and time management system – Manage the payroll process and management practices – Coordinate the entire payroll cycle and activities for the plants and offices of the various Group sites – Ensure the governance, compliance and internal controls of the payroll in accordance with the collective agreements and the various laws in force – Ensure compliance with processing deadlines, as well as the various remittances: bank transfers, pay statements, payment of group insurance, RRSPs, DAS, etc. – Manage contracts, renewals and the application of group insurance and pension plans – Act as a resource person in resolving problems and configuring the system in accordance with collective agreements and best practices – Complete payroll reports, statistics and indicators – Coach and support the payroll team, develop the skills and succession of the team – Answer questions related to payroll and benefits (group insurance, pension plan, etc.)

Your assets for this position!

- Bachelor's degree in administration or any other relevant training
- Solid experience in payroll administration in a unionized environment
- Good knowledge of payroll systems and Excel
- Very good communication skills in French and you are fluent in English
