Your responsibilities in a few words!

Support accounting and client support functions – Write investments – Track cash flow requirements – File quarterly GST/QST returns – Analyze information for fund statements – Generate reports and schedules as needed – Process credit card donations and new donor information – Prepare tribute cards, Prepare appropriate tribute cards, greeting cards and lists for fundholders – Follow donation receipt procedures – Distribute monthly donation receipts – Produce weekly donation reports – Manage insurance premiums to be paid and collected from donors – Update fundholder data with new information – Maintain systems for proper management of funds Maintain systems for proper document management – Ensure documents are properly filed and archived – Act as the lead in generating and verifying all data reports – Provide clients with information about their funds – Brief staff members on issues requiring attention

Your assets for this position!

  • DEC in accounting or administration u in a field relevant to the role
  • Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience
  • Advanced skills in working with a database
  • Ability to work in a Windows environment
  • Basic knowledge of Access and Acrobat
  • Be customer service oriented and able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Bilingualism: fluent in English and able to communicate in French
