Your responsibilities in a few words!
Gérer stratégiquement et opérationnellement les activités de transport – Négocier avec les transporteurs pour optimiser les coûts et la qualité de service – Assurer le respect des normes douanières canadiennes et américaines – Résoudre rapidement les enjeux opérationnels quotidiens – Améliorer les processus, outils et indicateurs liés au transport – Accompagner les clients internes dans la gestion de leurs besoins logistiques – Contribuer à des projets d’expansion et d’optimisation du réseau de transport
Your assets for this position!
5+ years of experience in transportation or logistics
Strong knowledge of customs regulations in Canada and the U.S.
Excellent negotiation skills
Proven ability to solve problems in real time
Familiarity with Canadian and U.S. routes and carriers
Degree in Logistics, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering (an asset)
Experience working in a transforming or evolving environment
Proficiency with administrative and analytical transportation tools
Fluency in French and English
