Your responsibilities in a few words!

Ensure month-end and year-end closing, variance analysis, monthly and periodic reconciliation Create improvement projects using technology and process optimization – Supervise the activities of the team under his/her responsibility and participate in its development – Replace the payroll administrator in case of absence – Monitor the cash flow in a context of investment and rapid growth Manage the relationship with the ERP system service provider and ensure system updates – Maintain effective KPIs and internal controls – Support reporting processes, Maintain effective key performance indicators and internal controls – Support reporting, budgeting and projection processes – Prepare documents for audit purposes – Actively participate in the year-end audit – Submit various grant applications to various levels of government

Your assets for this position!

  • DEC, AEC or a certificate in business administration or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years experience with credit, collection, risk management
  • Good team supervision skills
  • Experience in operational accounting (payables, payroll, billing, etc.): asset
  • Have worked in a small or medium-sized business as well as in a large company, in the manufacturing, construction or engineering sectors (assets)
  • Strong expertise in process improvement for operational excellence
  • Experience in a high volume transactional environment
  • Proficiency with Office Suite (advanced Excel), Dynamics Great Plains (asset) and technology tools
  • Interest in growth sectors and projects
  • Good organizational, management, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Bilingualism required: clearly express yourself in French and English (spoken and written)
