Your responsibilities in a few words!

Ensure overall compliance management and updating – Manage the compliance calendar and compliance program – Support the customer service team in opening simple accounts – Complete required regulatory documents – Oversee the implementation of risk and compliance training programs for employees – Complete due diligence questionnaires for prospects and existing customers – Support internal and external audit partners – Ensure continuous monitoring for the group, including website and social media monitoring – Conduct compliance validation of personal transactions and code of conduct approval – Challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement within the team

Your assets for this position!

  • Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the role
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years' experience in Canadian compliance in the financial sector
  • Experience in international compliance (asset)
  • Knowledge of the legal or paralegal sector (an asset)
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate information
  • Ability to work in an asset management environment (asset)
  • Bilingualism: required
