Your responsibilities in a few words!

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable and accounts receivable teams – Manage the full accounting cycle for multiple entities through to the preparation of financial statements – Coordinate monthly and annual closing processes – Prepare and analyze periodic financial reports – Perform complex reconciliations, adjustments, and journal entries – Prepare and monitor Canadian and U.S. tax filings – Provide financial analyses and recommendations to management – Support accounting teams across various North American entities – Participate in process optimization and the automation of accounting activities – Coordinate audit requests and prepare year-end documentation – Contribute to projects aimed at the continuous improvement and modernization of financial operations.

Your assets for this position!

Bachelor’s degree in accounting
Minimum of 6 to 7 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting
Experience with the full accounting cycle through to financial statements
Experience in a multi-entity environment
Experience supervising an accounting team
Excellent proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and data lookups
Knowledge of NCECF accounting standards
Knowledge of Canadian and U.S. sales taxes
Experience in a manufacturing environment or within a complex organization
Bilingualism in French and English
