Your responsibilities in a few words!

Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations – Prepare monthly and annual financial statements – Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team – Prepare budgets and monitor financial performance – Oversee project profitability and analyze construction costs – Manage cash flow, collections, accounts payable, and financing needs – Ensure compliance with public contracts, regulatory obligations, and government rebates – Implement and optimize processes, internal controls, and financial procedures – Provide strategic analysis to management to support decision-making – Actively participate in the growth and structuring of the organization.

Your assets for this position!

Active CPA designation
Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial control
Experience gained with a general construction contractor
Expertise in contracts and public tenders
Knowledge of CCQ requirements, CNESST, withholdings, and whistleblowing
Experience within organizations generating over $50 million in revenue
Experience in an accounting firm (a plus)
Experience in managing, structuring, or growing an accounting team
Experience in cash management, financing, and banking relations (a plus)
Fluency in French and ability to communicate in English in a professional setting
