Your responsibilities in a few words!
Contribute to month-end closing: Bank reconciliations, purchase cut-offs, journal entries, monitoring accruals and rebate programs – Manage treasury functions, including monitoring cash flows and foreign exchange (FX) requirements – Monitor merchandise purchases and validate supplier invoices – Participate in weekly payments (EFTs, bank transfers) – Provide support during financial audits – Follow up rebate programs with the relevant departments – Maintain fluid communication with other finance teams to ensure proper financial management
Your assets for this position!
CPA designation (or in process)
Degree in accounting or finance
3 to 5 years’ experience in accounting (auditing or industrial sector)
Experience in distribution or manufacturing (asset)
Rigorous attention to detail and ability to work independently
Organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Excellent communication skills, proactive and self-directed
Ability to work in a high-load environment
Bilingualism required
