Your responsibilities in a few words!
Prepare financial statements and ensure their accuracy – Participate in financial analysis and budget forecasts – Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit – Review reconciliations, month-end entries and tax reports – Manage investments and produce related reports – Act as a resource person for the team – Propose and implement accounting optimization projects – Collaborate in continuous improvement processes – Act as a contact with government agencies and financial institutions.
Your assets for this position!
Member of the Ordre des CPA
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or administration
5+ years’ experience in public practice and/or industry
Mastery of the full accounting cycle and financial statements
Knowledge of budgeting and financial analysis
Experience in improving accounting processes
Familiarity with ERP systems and changing accounting systems
Knowledge of a parapublic environment, NPO or professional order (an asset)
Fluency in French and functional English
