Your responsibilities in a few words!

Produce financial statements and quarterly and annual reports for investors – Coordinate capital calls and distributions – Participate in the determination of fair market values of investments – Take charge of the entire accounting cycle of the funds and the manager – Manage cash flow and financial flows – Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory obligations (sales tax, income tax, Coordinate the annual audit process and the production of tax reports – Respond to requests for information from investors and their advisors – Prepare presentations and analyses for various committees – Collaborate with the investment team, external suppliers and business partners – Contribute to the improvement of tools, processes and the integration of artificial intelligence

Your assets for this position!

CPA designation in good standing
Minimum 7 years’ relevant experience, ideally combining accounting firm and company
Excellent command of the full accounting cycle, including direct entry into accounting systems
Good understanding of Canadian tax issues
Knowledge of the operational functioning of private equity funds
Excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint
Bilingualism French-English, written and spoken
Experience with Sage or Dynamo
Strong interest in artificial intelligence and process improvement
Ability to analyze, synthesize and produce clear, concise analyses
