Your responsibilities in a few words!

Supervise and lead an accounts payable team – Improve and optimize monthly closing processes to ensure the reliability and timeliness of financial statements – Lead the transformation of a complex, multi-entity accounting structure into a simplified and efficient operational model – Foster a culture of collaboration and break down operational silos to promote organizational efficiency – Identify and implement initiatives for the continuous improvement of internal controls and accounting processes – Develop the team’s skills and create a stimulating environment that fosters talent retention – Collaborate with the Corporate Controller on strategic issues and evolving financial practices

Your assets for this position!

Hold a high school diploma or CPA certification
Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in team management
Demonstrated experience in improving financial close processes and operational optimization
Experience in organizational change management or in a business transformation context
Excellent skills in inspirational leadership and team development
Ability to stabilize teams and create a positive work environment
Expertise in simplifying accounting structures and eliminating inefficiencies
Strong analytical skills and a focus on pragmatic solutions
Excellent command of spoken and written French and English
