Your responsibilities in a few words!
Establish and cultivate relationships with requisitioners to identify opportunities and recommend best practices in procurement – Design technical specifications and coordinate with internal customers to meet procurement needs – Collaborate with requisitioners to analyze risks and define procurement needs, as well as to draft tenders and contracts – Select and implement the most suitable procurement and evaluation methods, taking into account the specifics of the files, markets and risks – Prepare necessary documents such as tenders, addendums, contracts, and selection grids – Lead and actively participate in selection committees for calls for tender – Review and implement recommendations for award – Execute contract award, including preparation of public statements and communication of details – Guide and support contract managers in contract management and execution – Maintain market surveillance to optimize procurement and recommend procurement strategies to reduce costs and consolidate requirements – Promote quality assurance and skills development, and advise other consultants or technicians – Negotiate agreements in complex contractual disputes.
Your assets for this position!
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a field relevant to the role (engineering degree or MBA an asset)
Ten years of relevant procurement and IT experience
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Excellent command of French and ability to communicate orally and in writing in English
