Your responsibilities in a few words!

Oversee all of the organization’s accounting and financial activities – Supervise the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes – Prepare and coordinate the financial consolidation of multiple Canadian and U.S. entities – Mentor, develop, and engage a team of accounting professionals – Manage external audits and regulatory compliance – Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures – Oversee activities related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury – Collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and integrations – Optimize financial processes and promote the automation of operations – Promote the use of technology, analytical tools, and artificial intelligence within the finance function – Participate in budgeting processes, financial forecasting, and long-term planning

Your assets for this position!

CPA certification required
Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance
5 years of team management experience
Solid experience in multi-entities and the preparation of consolidated financial statements
Extensive experience managing external audits and year-end closings
Expertise in internal controls and accounting best practices
Experience in an ERP environment, with NetSuite experience a significant asset
Experience working within growing organizations comprising multiple legal entities
Exposure to financial operations in Canada and the United States
Professional proficiency in English and the ability to work effectively in French
