Your responsibilities in a few words!
Manage the entire accounting cycle for various investment funds and associated entities – Prepare and review periodic financial statements in accordance with ASPE standards – Coordinate and support year-end audits – Produce financial reports for internal and external partners – Prepare financial analyses, performance tracking, and operating budgets – Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting best practices – Collaborate with business partners, investors, and external stakeholders to obtain the required information – Participate in the implementation and optimization of new financial systems – Supervise, mentor, and support the development of a senior accountant – Contribute to special assignments and strategic projects related to financial and investment activities.
Your assets for this position!
CPA designation
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of post-CPA experience
Extensive experience in preparing financial statements in accordance with ASPE standards
Experience supervising or managing staff
Career path combining experience in an accounting firm and in-house
Experience in the investment, asset management, or real estate
Excellent proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, FIS Investran, or Sage Intacct
Professional bilingualism in French and English
Experience in an environment involving multiple entities and complex structures
