Your responsibilities in a few words!

Développer et alimenter de façon autonome un portefeuille d’occasions de financement et d’investissement – Identifier et solliciter de nouvelles occasions d’affaires en cohérence avec les stratégies de l’organisation – Structurer des transactions combinant notamment dette garantie, dette non garantie et capital-actions – Réaliser les analyses financières, évaluer les risques et diriger l’évaluation approfondie des dossiers – Présenter et défendre les recommandations auprès des différentes instances décisionnelles – Mener les négociations et sécuriser les ententes avec les différentes parties prenantes – Planifier et coordonner les travaux de vérification diligente et les expertises externes requises – Développer et maintenir des relations stratégiques avec les acteurs de l’écosystème financier – Assurer le suivi des entreprises en portefeuille et veiller au respect des engagements contractuels – Collaborer à la gestion et au recouvrement des dossiers présentant un risque ou un défaut – Contribuer à la valorisation des entreprises investies et élaborer des stratégies de sortie – Participer au développement des produits financiers et aux stratégies de croissance de l’organisation – Contribuer à la veille sectorielle et recommander des améliorations aux politiques et processus.  

Your assets for this position!

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, with a concentration in finance or accounting
At least five years of relevant experience in investment or financing for companies at the commercial stage
Experience in equity, debt, and transaction negotiations
Strong proficiency in financial analysis, financial structuring, business valuation, and risk analysis
Experience in business development, prospecting, and identifying financing or investment opportunities
In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and growth capital
Professional certification as a CPA, CFA, or EEE is a plus
Knowledge of corporate governance and/or experience serving on boards of directors is a plus
Knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework applicable to financing and investment transactions is a plus
Excellent command of spoken and written French, as well as a good knowledge of English
