Your responsibilities in a few words!
Prendre en charge et coordonner la conformité fiscale corporative canadienne, incluant les déclarations T2 et les exigences de l’ARC – Coordonner les différents formulaires réglementaires et la collaboration avec les conseillers fiscaux externes – Recueillir et valider les données fiscales et préparer les dossiers de travail – Gérer les calendriers de conformité – Soutenir les calculs d’acomptes provisionnels, les paiements et les réconciliations fiscales – Participer aux réponses aux avis de cotisation, demandes d’information et audits fiscaux – Contribuer aux provisions fiscales trimestrielles et annuelles sous US GAAP – Collaborer au reporting fiscal international et aux dossiers concernant les filiales étrangères – Soutenir les travaux liés aux prix de transfert et aux transactions intercompagnies – Contribuer à l’amélioration des processus, de la documentation et des contrôles fiscaux
Your assets for this position!
CPA certification or currently working toward it is a plus
Hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, taxation, or a related field
Hold a master’s degree in taxation (M. Fisc.) or have specialized training in taxation; this is a plus
Have at least 3–10 years of relevant experience in corporate taxation, either at a firm or in a multinational setting
Have solid hands-on experience in Canadian corporate tax compliance, particularly with T2 returns and CRA requirements
Demonstrate independence, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment
Familiarity with forms T106, T1134, NR4, or other related returns is a plus
Experience or exposure to tax provisions, tax accounting, or tax reporting under US GAAP is a plus
Experience with international taxation, transfer pricing, or intercompany transactions is a plus
Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of OneSource, an ERP system, or tax filing management systems is a plus
Fluency in English (ability to work in English) and working knowledge of French
